New solutions for living comfort

Companies from Central Finland develop and manufacture product and service solutions that make us feel more comfortable than ever in our homes.

The local companies take comfort to new heights by focusing on the interior air, illumination, functionality, design, aesthetics, and accessibility of buildings. In addition to many other projects, the JAMK University of Applied Sciences was involved in developing accessibility solutions for the Sammonkoti residential home for the elderly, which was completed in Jyväskylä in the summer of 2009.

Communality also plays an important in the comfort of living. A testament to this are the ecological urban areas being constructed in Central Finland. Work on these resident-centric and energy efficient areas is well on the way in the municipalities of Säynätsalo, Toivakka, Jämsä, Petäjävesi, Multia and Kannonkoski. Our network is also involved in single-family home exhibitions in Kangasniemi in 2011, Saarijärvi in 2012,and Toivakka in 2013, as well as in the Housing Fair 2014 in Jyväskylä.

Sauna from Finland

The purpose of the Sauna from Finland concept is to promote the development and export of Finnish sauna products and service ideas by increasing awareness of the Finnish sauna. Sauna from Finland brings together companies that manufacture sauna products as well as providers of wellbeing and tourism services. Scientific data on accessible and safe housing

The JAMK University of Applied Sciences is engaged in developing the accessibility, functionality, and safety of housing for the needs of construction and renovation activities.
